North west of the High Forest, the Dellmon family has lived in this area for several generations, and is well known by fellow homesteaders. They are a wealthy family, having worked hard to cultivate their land. When attacks began on smaller homesteads in the vicinity, Kerbin Dellmon sent out word that anyone could stay at their compound for safety. A number of farmers and ranchers took him up on that offer.
It was at the Dellmon Ranch that the heroes stood alongside gathered common folk and a errant knight named Erned Stoutblade, to repel an orc invasion. During the invasion Dellmon lost his youngest son, Fyndrick, and seven brave homesteaders, scouts, and retired soldiers in defense of the ranch. Despite the losses, the heroes fought bravely, and by their efforts and coordination, the Dellmon Ranch survived the orcish assault and replled the Iceshield Orc raiders.
The ranch is currently a staging area for displaced farmers to reclaim their farms. Kerbin Dellmon, alongside his son Perd, have begun recruiting able bodied homesteaders who have been displaced,to serve as guards and watchmen for the ranch complex, as well as stand sentinel over the farmers who are rebuilding their homes.
